About Guardian 4 Heroes
Guardian 4 Heroes is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing equine-assisted therapy and healing services to our nation's Veterans, first responders, and community members. We believe in the profound healing power of human-animal connection, nature, and restorative therapies to support mental health, recovery, and resilience.
Our Mission at Eagles Healing Nest
In agreement with the Eagles Healing Nest, Guardian 4 Heroes is restoring and revitalizing the historic barnyard — a beautiful 125-acre sanctuary for healing located in Sauk Centre, Minnesota. Our goal is to transform this space into a year-round facility offering equine therapy, grounding, sound therapy, yoga, meditation, and other holistic approaches to trauma recovery. The Project
We have taken on the ambitious task of restoring the barnyard — a collection of buildings and pastures over 100 years old — to become a living, breathing place of healing.
Our vision includes:
Restoring the Historic Barn into a welcoming space for therapy sessions for meditation, sound therapy, support groups and community gatherings.
Revitalizing Two Outbuildings. Transforming these buildings into functional spaces.
Renewing the Pastures to create nurturing spaces for therapy horses and participants alike.
Building Outdoor and Indoor Arenas so that therapy can continue year-round, rain or shine.
Preserving the Natural Beauty of the land to maintain its grounding, peaceful energy.
Where We Are Today
As the founder of Guardian 4 Heroes — and with the generous support of veterans and a local business — I have personally self-funded the first steps of this dream. But now, we need your help to continue.
